As stated above we just got the first round of new shoes in. First up the DC True S. This color way is awesome. Black and Silver. next up will be the Fitz followed by the low price ($52.00) Tonic. The whole DC skate line is looking really good and were gonna back it!

The new TWS got here today hand its got one hell of a cover shot! Lizard got down and fs noseslid the Hollywood 16! Damn son! I just finished his interview and it was such a good read come by and peep it!

So Happy New Years  to everyone! I know its only 12 days after the fact but hey at least I did wish yall a Happy New year before Feb!

I don't know what it is but I always seem to forget to update the site on the regs? So with that said would anybody out there like to be my update guy? Like you call me once a week and i tell you what to write type of gig. In return I will give you some stickers and griptape,sound like a deal? Let me know if there are any takers.

Ok what else,oh yeah so i got the new TWS biz magazine and to my delight was a full story on how Active was getting a second chance and what they were doing to improve on there 8.8 million dollar fuck yer face to the industry. I was so stoked to see a photo of the new management. You tell me do you think one of these guys actually skates on the regular? I think not.

So in close do your self a favor and don't support mall stores,corporate mailorders or mega chains such as Wactive cause in the end they really don't care about you all they care about is there margins and $$$$

Ok so here are my top two videos of the decade! Starting at number two with out further ado.........

#2 Enjoi "Bag Of Suck"

Jerry Hsu is so good on a skateboard! His tricks and spots are always so on point and his style is like no other. I know the guy takes hefty slams! He is the complete package. There are so many reasons I like this video so much and Jerry is reason #1

This guy likes "New Order"probably as much as I do. Louie is super funny and full of life. He has more fun skating than anyone on the planet earth! He does his thing and it works! I am sure glad others don't try and skate like Louie! Best Dude Ever!

The Kid comes correct with his part in bag of suck. His first two lines are what I would consider fun riding your skateboard. His speed and tricks are what really draw me to his skating.I like the rawness that he puts out there and I am glad to see he's still at it after all these years!

Clark, Jose and Caswell all have great parts in this video too! This video delivered in 2006 and still does to this day!

And now my #1 video of the first decade of 2000.

Anything Mark Gonzales touches is gold! The first time I met mark was 1986 at a CASL contest.Ever since that day I have been a fan of everything he does. From skating to his artwork its no secret he has the best style in skateboarding. This video is my all time favorite next to the G&S footage video. Just imagen if Neil Blender and Gonz collaberated on a project it would be the best thing ever.

Van Wastells part in this video is just a small glimpse of what Van could have done on a skateboard and it is such a shame we will never get the chance to really see what Van was made of. I miss my friend but I am sure glad his sister and I have become friends thru the opening of the shop! RIP Van

His line at 1:17 is what good skateboarding looks like!

Bobby Worrest is a good dude who loves Coors Light! He skates like a man and has that classic east coast style "Raw and Powerful" Just watch this  then try and deny that the dude straight rips!

Dan Drehobl is a champ. I can't really say much more but his part is great and the song is even greater!

Last but not least the Gonz! He is the best skater in the world and he will be my all time favorite for as long as I live! Long live the Gonz! This isn't his part but probably one of the raddest things he has ever done! Enjoy!

As promised here are the last of the top twenty videos of the decade. So here we go with the final 9!

#9 Real's "Seeing Double"

So in the year 2002 Real skateboards introduced to the skateboard world Dennis Busenitz & Peter Ramondetta and its a good thing they did.Both Peter and Dennis have exceded all expectations. Dennis should have won SOTY already but hasn't for unknown reasons and Pete has amazed everyone with his well rounded skills on a skateboard! In this video there is a line Dennis does at a skatepark thats mind blowing. This video features the rest of the team in supporting roles. JT Aultz has a good part as does Darrell Stanton. Man I wish Darrell would have stayed on Real. Seeing Double is well worth the watch many times over!

#8 Skate Mafia AM video

When the skate mafia formed it was just a couple of dudes on Shortys with a dream to unite skaters world wide as a brotherhood! Well times changed and the Shorty's group disbanned and the brand Skate Mafia was born. 5 short years later and hundreds of Skatemafia saturdays down we have the Skate Mafia am video.

Jamie Palmore starts it off with a great introduction part. Jamie is a real nice guy who rips on a skateboard. His trick selection is  off the charts!

Tyler Surrey is one of the best AM'S in the game right now. Style is something very few skaters have these days but not to worry Surrey has it! I bet if he wanted he could start a line at the PB pier and land a 40 trick line all the way to the mission beach boardwalk! Surrey is a beast!

The video ends with Wes Kremer.. If you haven't seen him skate then your really missing out. I could go on and on for days about Wes but I am just going to leave it at he's hands down the best AM in the game right now!

#7 Tiltmode "Bonus Round"

The Tiltmode Army gets it! They have a full understanding of what skateboarding is all about. The thing about this video is that its got all the Tiltmode edits on it and more. Caswell Berry has his best part ever in Bonus Round! I sure hope he gets mention of it somewhere else than just here! Cairo Foster and Paul Sharpe share a part thats super fun! Louie Barletta has so much fun on his skateboard its always a pleasure to see a Louie part.

There isn't one thing in this video that sucks and thats hard to do now days.

#6 Flip's "Sorry"

The first Flip video was a long awaited ordeal and when it came out Flip was on top of the world. Appleyard started this one off with an effortless display of amazing skateboarding. Ali, Bastien, Rowley, Glifberg, and Tom Penny all have great parts but when it comes down to it Arto was just a beast in this video! His part is his best to date and he deserved skater of the year the same year this video came out!

#5 Girl "Yeah Right"

Girl's team has always been the best there videos are always great. This video has so many great parts it would take forever to outline each of them so I am only gonna comment on a few. on the Girl side McCrank, Koston,Carroll, and BA have outstanding parts. My top twoare tony Ferguson and Robbie McKinley. IMO those were both those guys best parts in there entire skate carrer's. On the Chocolate side Gino came thru. Damn he is so amazing. The guy just flat out looks amazing on a skateboard. Mike York really worked hard on his part and it showed big time. After Injuries York came thru with a stellar part for this one. I can't leave out Kenny Anderson anything I see of him is always so good. He's one of them well rounded guys who is always fun to watch.

#4 "Fully Flared"

This video brought back aspects of skating I haven't seen since the early 90's, it also brought new aspects to skateboarding videos with the use of dollys and HD. I think this was a really good thing cause skating was a bit stale and fully flared gave it that kick in the ass it needed. I was so stoked to see Mike and Rick both have full parts those two have been at it a long time and its good to see them still killing it. Guy Mariano hands down had the best part in this video. he disappeared for a while then came back better than ever. It was really an experience to see it first hand at the premiere and to feel the electricty that was in the air. He got a standing ovation at the end of the part it was well deserved.

Everything about this video is good and I'm sure you would agree with me on this!

#3 The Firm "Can't Stop"

There are three things about this video that make it a top 3 contender for the best videos of the decade.

Rodrigo Tx- 2 parts and never got any love for it in my opinion. If it were up to me he would have got SOTY and won every TWS award for that yaer there was, Shit i would have just called the awards "Let us praise TX" The two parts he put down in that video will go down in history as some of the hardest shit ever done on a skateboard and he made it look good!

Javier Sarminento- just ozzes with style and the trick selection he has is perfect.

Matt Beach-is just plain and simple but his skating style is one of my all time favorites. He probably has my favorite kickflip of all time! I'm glad he's back from hiatus now and I hope to see more of him soon his TWS part was good but not as good as his Firm part!

Ok so we have pretty much lived thru another decade of skateboarding and I'm feeling pretty damn good about it! This morning I figured might as well rank my top twenty videos of the decade so with out further ado here they are from number 20 to number 1! enjoy!

#20 The DC Video 2003

The DC  video introduced to the world the mega ramp! D Way just straight made snowboarding offically lame with his part in this video. Ave came thru with a solid opener. Kalis was off the hook,Wenning showed the balance and proper style,Stevie Williams part was full of pop and colin Mckay made vert cool again with his street style attack. The only let downs were Drydek  who hasn't learned anything new since time code and the lack of Ryan Smith footage.

#19 Static 2 "The Invisibles"

There were a lot of vids that came out in this decade and the static video just had one of the best line ups of them all. Puleo, Igei, Reed, Shier, and Oyola!! Damn thats amazing! Igie and Puleo have the  amazing parts and Oyola never disapoints! This one is a must watch before a street session...

#18 Follow Your Path I-Path

If I remember correctly this one was a freebie that came in a magazine. This video is great with a irie vibe! Matt Rodriguez just plane looks great riding a skateboard. P-Rod should watch more of the older Rodriguez to learn how to look good on a board. This video cast's a bunch of others who straight kill it. Renaud,Newport,Puleo,Adelmo and Sabback! WOW!

#17 Habitat's "Mosaic"

Ok so here is the og Habitat line up and boy was it on point. Renaud has such a great style, man I wish he were still on the team his part in this is hands down the best! Freddy Gall is one the most underated guys to ever step foot on a skateboard! Fred's so ill! The rest of the cast comes thru on this one. Wenning,Garcia,and janoski all have great parts. Jason Dill and AVE really shine in the alien section of the video!

#16 PJ Ladds "Wonderful,Horrible,Life."

now this one comes in at 16 and due to one reason and one reason only! PJ LADD! Up until this point there wasn't much inovation going on in skateboarding and PJ pretty much killed that theroy with one part! The rest of the video is garbage but this one makes it in the top 20 purely based on PJ lets hope his Plan B part (if it ever comes out) Is justas advanced as this was!

#15 Traffic Skateboards "Via"

There are probably a lot of skateboarders who have never seen this video based on the fact that a lot of kids who come to the store have never seen this! I like the underground companys cause of there raw feel! Ricky Oyola has been a favorite of mine for sometime and he does not disapoint in "VIA". His team is amazing and my standouts for this video are Andy Bautista,Dan Plunkett,Pat Stiner and Rich Adler! If you haven't seen this video come by and watch it you'll be stoked you did!

#14 Black Label

"God Saved The Label"

So here is one of the newer releases that made the cut. This video delivers. Chet Childress, Ben Skrzypek, Kyle Leeper and Peter Watkins have great parts! The two parts that really made this video out shine most was Jason Adams and Shuriken Shannon. two completley diffrent skaters that both put down stellar parts in the own personal way! I'm Love n the Label these days!

#13 Arcade Skateboards "Who"

Heres a video that is longer than most but the length is good when you have a big team and wheel company to cover!Bryan London, Casey Rigney, Adelmo Jr,and Andre Genovesi all get there full part debuts out the way in this one and not one of them let you down. Bucky (joey Brezinski) really kick started his carrer with his amazing manny talents in "Who?" For me Andre and Casey have the two best parts but then again I love the two Autobahn sections cause the team is so diverse and the audio tracks work so well with the montages. Daniel Haney puts in his best performance as a pro and I gotta give it up to him. The boardslide through the corner at the Stevenson Ranch school is amazing! If you wanna peep this one come thru cause I am pretty sure you can't buy it anymore!

#12 Real "Roll Forever"

The boys at DLX never dissapoint. I think this video was free it came in Thrasher magazine.The box says full length preview. Well anything with Busennitz and Ramondetta is a pure win in my book. Dennis is by far the best skateboarder on the planet and Pete is right there next to him. This was Nick Dompierre's first part with the Real team and he puts it down like a seasoned veteran!Damien Bravo Ernie Torres come thru with a clean offerings! Huf can ollie for the next 20 yrs and I wouldn't mind! Max Schaff  has the best style on vert and I wish Darrell Stanton would have stayed on Real!

#11 AWS "Photosynthesis"

So the DNA crew came correct with this one. Kalis straight kills it in this video. His lines at Love are amazing. AVE and Dill both are in my top 10 of skaters all time and this video they both have equally good parts. Anthony Pappalardo and Wenning were both real hungry in this video and there parts are both fantastic. Appleyard had a short run with Habitat and had a short but sweet part in this video. What ever happened to Pat Corcan?

The Habitat section is great with Getz,Garcia,and Gall!

#10  TWS "Modus Operandi"

Some people don't like Ty Evans music selections. I am the complete opposite I really like his song selections. The opening of this video features music by "Rabbit In The Moon" and it goes perfect with opening montage! All four dudes featured in this video are amazing but the order in which they skated was off. I would have had Carroll as the closer instead of BA. I am a huge BA fan but I would rather seen him solo instead of giving Staba a guest apperance.Carrolls part is his best ever! His opening line in his part is probably the best line ever filmed in skateboarding. Marc Johnson and Chany Jeanguenin have  great parts as well! The real key to this video is the music and the filming is spot on perfect!

So this is #20-#10 on the countdown. I will finish the top 10 tomorrow! Now get away from the video games for a bit and watch some skate videos!

Ho Ho Ho Santa just rolled thru the shop and picked up mad gear for all the loyal Push pawns! I know of alot of kids that are gonna be so stoked tomorrow! we hope everyone has a great Christmas! He is currently shooting a battle commander at the Berrics which should be done real soon!

Marius and Wes are heading to the Cayman Islands to film for the next transworld video for week. Lucky bastards!

Tommy Sandoval just had knee surgery and should be back at it by Febuary 2010.

I would like to give a shout out and congrats to the homie Tosh Townsend  cause he will be having a kid in 2010!

Well here I am again lagging on updates.ok lots to go over.First off  there are only 10 shopping dates left till X-mas and the shop has tons of product. We got lots of new decks in. The Roger stuff is killing it right now. DLX is always strong. Skatemafia is holding it down with great shapes and graphics.We got some new Workshop and Habitat decks that are super sick. We pretty much have the widest selection of decks in the SCV.

Me and Manchild took a trip to the Tampa Am two weeks ago and had a pretty damn good time. The goodtimes crew was in full affect led by Rodzilla! so much hyjinx went down I find myself laughing still about it. Below are some of the photos from the trip!

Well I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! It was weird not being here at the shop for a day. The sale is on still and we want to thank everyone who's come thru and got goods! We will be honoring the sale for the entire weekend so if you haven't got anything yet you better get down here.

There is all kinds of weird stuff going on right now in skateboarding. The Berrics has launched a program called "Unified" which has the slap message board roaring. I can see both sides of the arguments but its getting a little out of hand. If and when Push becomes an online store I may consider it but for now I don't see it helping me all that much. Berra is a weird guy if it is truly him posting on the slap board.. the video is quite creepy on the berrics site aswell.

On another note I was web surfing on turkey day and found all this info on the beloved Active Rideshop and there recent bankrupcy. It was quite intresting to find out that some (non skateboarding) investors bought the mega chain for $5.2 million dollars, damn what a deal! I still wish the Zumiez offer for$ 7.2million would have went thru. That would have been classic..

There was also this info on how they screwed over all these people...

God I really feel sorry for the construction company they shook for $891,000 Ouch! This is a perfect example of greed at its best! Remember kids Active could care less about you just like Zumiez does. If your going to shop anywhere in this town make sure its either with us or Val Surf cause we actually care about you and Skateboarding!

He just got back from the Flip feast tour on the east coast and should be up visiting very soon.

The Holidays are coming. Have you seen this?

I just got an email from Rob from the skatepark of Tampa and Manchild has earned a spot to compete in the biggest Am contest in the world. Congrats you little shit! The rest of the team has been filming lots and a short team promo will be posted very soon!

I got an invite to see the final battles at the berrics which will go down on Friday Nov 20th. Torey vs Cole and         P. Robot vs Cory Kennedy. I forsee the future right now and I see....Kennedy vs Cole in the finals with Cole coming out the victor of Battle 2.

Yeah I been laggin on updates so what..haha Naw I been busy and got sick for a few days but here i am back and ready to roll. Lets see what I can inform you on. Torey Pudwill is in full film mode right now for next years TWS video. That shit right there is going to be so dope! Wes and Tyler are back in the states after being in Europe for sometime. Marius is in Barcelona hanging with Tom Penny witch is pretty random but he was physced on the situation. Apples is in Japan and will be coming to skate with us when he gets back! My homie Neal Mims just opened a store in Carlsbad called Fortunate Skate Supply so if your ever in the area stop by and say whats up!

We just got all kinds of new vox shoes! The Gravette x Creature tropper is off the hook! The Justin Strubing is so good and we got that as well! I forgot my camera so no pictures for now!! Yousef is jumping off at all times possible but he is still nowhere as jumpoff as Paulie!!

Manchild sucks and we have video to prove it above and in the MC Corner. Nah actually he is really starting to progress and his style is better than yours for a 13 yr old little shit...Unless Gino is reading this then I take that last comment back.

I always wondering if anyone reads this? So for those of you who do here is whats good at the moment. Push X-Change will be the only shop in the valley to be doing a Flip premiere. The premiere will be Oct 9th @ 8:30 pm on the patio area next to Push! This video is amazing straight up you will not want to miss this! We will also have copies for sale right after the premiere!

Last weekend we went out to AZ for the Volcom Wild In The Parks finals! Push had some good rep in the contest. Man Child, Alex Orozco, Noah Lubjic, Lil Jerry, JJ Rice, and Chet Thomas aka Brian.

No one made the finals but in my mind JJ and Man Child both had the stuff to qualify for the finals! But politics and local shop workers judging your not going to get much results being from out of town.

Sorry for the lagging of updates! Lots been happening. Justin Brock has turned pro for the real camp and his board was shipped today to us! Fuck yeah Justin! There is so much DLX stuff coming in next week its crazy!! the new Krooked stuff is off the hook and I can't wait to put it up on the wall early next week.

Crossroads retail show came and went. It was good to see all the homies down there. Garret , Nads and Manturd came along for the show and all had fun skating the Zero Park! The show was mellow and from what I hear Chris Cole actually won the best trick contest not Andrew Pott...Whatever.

So today we were blessed with some of the dudes from the DVS team here in the shop.

Well the skys have turned a murky brown from the fires and me and Yousef are betting the sk8park will closed yet another day due to bad air quality? When did the city of Santa Clarita care so much about what is breathed in by skaters? Oh well looks like tomorrow will be the day.

Oh my the new Manchilde's corner is up and its a doozy. Manchilde's corner is going on the road really soon and he will be doing an exclusive interview with Mark Appleyard about the new flip video that is coming alot sooner than later....

The 8.0 shop decks are in and are looking tight! Everyones been hyped on the decks so far...You  can't beat bareback wood with the Quantum Mold. Below little Jerry  is nothing but smiles  with an new 8.0

Marius and Wes are in Finland for a hot second. They should be back round the first of october. Tommy Guns is chillin in Chula and wants to come up to SCV to skate and hit up Magic Mountain I wil let everyone know when thats gonna happen. Tyler Surrey is still in Spain somewhere getting his skate on. He will be on the side window for a Vox ad that will be coming soon.

August 22nd

So far so good! The kids are hyped were focusing a lot on the underground boards and boards you can't really find in this Valley. I can't believe certain stores that sell 40 dollar crap to these kids...For all you kids out there beware of what you ride and what you pay! Don't get ripped off.

So were working on a park edit right now for the Transworld site and its actually coming together really good! Big props go out to J.J. Rice from Santa Barbara who just in one skate session earned himself a spot on the Push Shop team. You may say "who the fuck is JJ Rice" but let me tell you i got a good feeling about this kid! Footage coming soon! Another addition to the push shop team is Garret Wilson! Dude reminds me of Marcus Mcbride and thats always a good thing. When I see him skate i think of the Marcus line in Ben Sanchez part in Mouse. Fantastic.

oh check out the new page "Man Childe's Corner" pretty funny stuff from a 13yr old kid who talks too much shit and doesn't even know what he's talking about most the time... Good times ccccccoome on.

So for now here is a little bit of information. The new Tiltmode Army video "Bonus Round" is the shit! Its got a great sound track and is pure nonsense all the way thru! Caswell Berry has by far his best part of all time in this one! I give two thumbs up for the Cairo and Paul Sharpe duet! The whole video is the business and we have it for sale so come buy it!
